xHIS Smart Healthcare Information System Test Intern

We specialize in the research and development of Healthcare Information Systems (HIS), with a long-term commitment to Taiwan’s medical digital transformation and smart healthcare innovation. We are looking for talented students with a strong technical foundation and a passion for healthcare to join our large-scale hospital HIS implementation project. Through first-line on-site operations, you will play a key role in quality assurance and work with us to enhance medical service quality and digital efficiency.

Responsibilities:

Quality Assurance & Automated Testing

Perform system unit testing and integration testing to ensure the stability and precision of medical software releases.
Develop and execute automated test scripts**, assist in maintaining automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Pytest), and generate comprehensive test reports.
Conduct rigorous system verification for National Health Insurance (NHI) logic(e.g., IC card read/write, outpatient billing, and claims data upload).

User Support & Troubleshooting

Provide on-site technical support at **Pingtung Veterans General Hospital** to resolve real-time operational issues for end-users.
Consolidate feedback on system anomalies from medical staff, perform preliminary troubleshooting, and track the progress of fixes with the development team.

Training & Documentation

Assist in creating system SOPs, technical manuals, or digital instructional videos.
Support hospital-wide training sessions as an on-site teaching assistant to help medical staff familiarize themselves with the xHIS system.

Project Administrative Support

Assist Product Managers (PMs) with requirement interview records, database data verification, and other project-related tasks.

Requirements:

Education: Current students (for internship) or fresh graduates.
Major in Information Management, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or related fields is highly preferred

Technical Skills:

Basic understanding of programming logic; experience with automated testing tools is a plus.
Foundational knowledge of **SQL**; familiar with database CRUD operations and data retrieval.

Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in the healthcare industry is a priority** (e.g., hospital part-time jobs, familiarity with NHI billing codes or clinical workflows).
Familiarity with the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and the ability to write rigorous Test Cases.

Soft Skills

Clear and logical communication, patience, ability to adapt to high-pressure real-time needs in a medical environment, and a meticulous work attitude.

Location & Hours

Work Location: Pingtung Veterans General Hospital (No. 1, Rongzong E. Rd., Pingtung City, Pingtung County)
Work Hours: At least 2.5 to 3 days per week, with flexibility based on school course schedules and project timelines.
