AICS (ASUS Intelligent Cloud Services) is a division of ASUS, with the mission to transform healthcare through AI.    

We are looking for undergraduates who have strong interest in learning software development lifecycle, software testing, and automation testing to join our QA Engineering team. You will focus on improving software development processes and preventing defects in production. As a QA Engineer (Intern), you’ll collaborate with internal teams to develop and release functional software applications, while working in a fast-paced environment. 

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Design and develop automation test scripts based on Product Requirements, bugs, and manual test cases. 
• Collaborate with team members to review and execute the automation test plans effectively and efficiently. 
• Track, record, and triage test results in detail. 
• Enhance product quality with high-quality automation tests. 
• Drive for bug fixes discovered by automation scripts and improve automation test coverage. 

Requirements:

• Work permits in Singapore or Taiwan.
• Enrolled in Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Computer Science or related discipline. 
• Strong programming skills in Python or JavaScript. 
• Good communication skills, proactive and user-centric mindset. 
• Logical thinking skills and passion for product quality optimization. 
• Good understanding of algorithms and statistics. 
• Independent, analytical, good problem-solving skills. 
• Familiar with web platform and related testing flow. 
• Familiar with testing methodology and tooling of Web, API, e.g., Selenium. 
• Familiar with project management or bug tracking tools, e.g., Asana, Jira, Trello, etc.
