About Us
AICS is a division of ASUS with the mission to transform healthcare through AI Agentic Systems. Utilizing deep technologies in Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Machine Learning (ML), and Data Analytics, we build and deploy an extensible agentic skill platform that improves the quality of care, increases accessibility, and reduces costs — delivered either through our cloud-hosted service or as a fully on-premise deployment within hospital environments.
The Role
This role sits at the critical intersection of technology, business operations, and clinical IT. You will own the end-to-end delivery of our AI Agentic products, ensuring they successfully transition from development to production — whether on our cloud-hosted infrastructure or strictly on-premise within hospital environments. You will act as the technical bridge between our internal teams (Project Managers, BD, DevOps, and Product Engineers) and our external customers (Hospital IT and clinical staff), building and continuously improving the deployment playbook that scales our solutions across the region.
We operate on an automation-first, agentic working model. The expectation is not just to execute deployments — but to identify every manual step in the process and take ownership of automating it, whether through scripts, pipelines, or AI agents. You will work within the protocols established by internal DevOps and Product R&D, and collaborate closely with both teams to ensure every customer delivery is successful.
What You’ll Do
Deployment & Infrastructure
- Work with DevOp and Product Engineer in configure our product in production environments, with a heavy emphasis on complex on-premise hospital setups.
- Navigate hospital IT infrastructure constraints, design appropriate network architectures, and ensure compliance with strict security and data governance requirements.
- Manage and optimize deployment pipelines using Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD tools, following protocols defined by the internal DevOps team.
- Support both cloud-hosted and on-premise deployment models, adapting configurations to each customer environment.
Automation & Agentic Workflow Development
- Continuously identify deployment and integration steps that remain manual, and take ownership of automating them — through scripts, pipelines, or purpose-built AI agents.
- Develop and extend automation agents that reduce the manual footprint of each new customer deployment, contributing to a faster and more repeatable delivery process.
- Collaborate with Product R&D to feed field-discovered automation opportunities back into the platform’s extensible skill framework.
System Integration & Field Operations
- Integrate our agentic platform with hospital systems through on-premise software integration, with hands-on experience in enterprise IT environments as a must.
- Validate data pipelines and ensure correct implementation of interface standards within the customer environment. HL7/FHIR knowledge is a plus.
- Collaborate with Hospital IT on how to effectively consume and integrate with our standard APIs. Own the technical relationship through the stabilization phase.
- Deploy and extend observability configurations — applying the monitoring standards designed by R&D and adding custom instrumentation (Prometheus, Grafana) where project-specific needs require it.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with Project Managers and Business Development as a core part of project delivery — aligning technical execution with project timelines, customer commitments, and business milestones through to completion sign-off.
- Collaborate with internal DevOps and Product R&D teams following established protocols to troubleshoot runtime issues, optimize performance (e.g., GPU inference), and ensure deployment quality.
- Feed field insights — integration friction, customer environment patterns, gaps in automation — back into the product roadmap and deployment tooling.
What We’re Looking For
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience 3+ years in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, system integration, or a highly technical field-facing deployment role. Direct experience with on-premise enterprise software deployment is a must.
Core Technical Skills
- Proficient with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of network design, server environments, and enterprise software troubleshooting.
- Solid scripting abilities (Python, Bash, etc.) with a demonstrated instinct for automation — writing scripts and agents to eliminate repetitive manual work.
- Familiarity with building or working with AI agents and automation workflows.
Soft Skills: Exceptional communicator who is equally comfortable deep-diving into deployment pipelines with DevOps, coordinating delivery milestones with Project Managers and BD, and explaining API integrations to Hospital IT or workflows to clinical department heads.
Logistics: Willingness to travel to hospital sites as needed for hands-on deployment and relationship building.
Preferred Qualifications
- Direct experience deploying and integrating on-premise IT systems within the healthcare industry, with working knowledge of HL7, FHIR, HIS, and PACS environments.
- Experience working with ML model servers and performance tracking tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Exposure to agentic frameworks or workflow automation platforms.
