QA Manager

As a Software QA Manager, you’ll lead and manage QA for a software development team, implementing effective processes, coordinating testing, and fostering dev-QA collaboration. Ensure high-quality product delivery, mitigate risks, and drive continuous QA improvement for overall product excellence. 

  • Lead and manage QA team, setting goals and performance metrics.
  • Develop QA strategies, test plans, and process improvements.
  • Coordinate manual, automated, and module/API-level testing efforts.
  • Monitor defects, facilitate timely resolution, and report progress.
  • Assess risks, implement mitigation strategies, and ensure quality.
  • Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams and stay updated on industry trends.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • 5+ years in enterprise and cloud-based software QA, with 2-3 years in leadership.
  • Strong grasp of SDLC, QA methodologies, and testing tools.
  • Proficiency in test automation and Agile methodologies.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Relevant certifications like ISTQB, CSTE, or PMP are a plus.
