Senior Infrastructure Engineer

AICS builds and operates ASUS’s healthcare and AI SaaS platforms. The Infrastructure team runs these platforms across public cloud and on-premises environments. We rely heavily on automation and infrastructure as code, and AI tools are part of how we work every day.

Key Responsibilities

Cloud & Cluster Operations
Manage the lifecycle of Kubernetes clusters across public cloud and on-premises environments, including provisioning, upgrades, and backup/restore
Troubleshoot production issues across workloads, networking, storage, and access control
Infrastructure as Code & CI/CD
Design and maintain reusable infrastructure-as-code modules for cloud resources
Build and improve CI/CD pipelines that promote changes across environments
Standardize how platform services are deployed and configured
Observability & Reliability
Build and improve monitoring, logging, and alerting
Take part in incident response and postmortems, and drive improvements afterward
Platform Enablement
Build tools and templates that help product teams deploy and run their services on the platform
Work with application, security, and external IT teams on infrastructure design and delivery
Technical Leadership
Set engineering standards and best practices, and review designs and code
Share knowledge and mentor other engineers on the team
Maintain SOPs and technical documentation

Required Qualifications

5+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, platform, or infrastructure engineering
Deep experience running Kubernetes in production
Hands-on experience with a major public cloud (Azure or GCP preferred)
Strong infrastructure-as-code experience (e.g. Terraform)
Solid Linux system administration and networking fundamentals
Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Prometheus, Grafana)
Scripting skills in Python and/or Bash
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to own problems end to end
Good written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience leading projects or mentoring engineers
Multi-cluster management, or self-managed Kubernetes distributions
Helm chart authoring and configuration management tools (e.g. Ansible)
Hybrid cloud or on-premises deployment experience
Experience in regulated industries (e.g. healthcare, finance)
Active use of AI coding assistants (e.g. Claude Code, Cursor, Codex)
Kubernetes or cloud certifications (e.g. CKA, CKS)
