ASUS and NHRI to Build AI Biomedical Supercomputer
To serve the graying population, the National Health Research Institutes and tech giant ASUS will build an AI supercomputer focused on biomedicine.
We leverage artificial intelligence and hybrid cloud technologies to create standardized data formats that comply with international regulations. The modular design and low/no-code tools meet various clinical customization needs. In addition, we accelerate innovation in smart healthcare and improve service efficiency using platform-based development tools. Our aim is to advance next-gen digital healthcare information services.
Enabling integration with external applications to collaboratively build an advanced healthcare information ecosystem
Providing a variety of low/no-code development tools, allowing users to dynamically adjust interfaces and operational rules
Interconnection of heterogeneous databases, systems, and healthcare institutions
The current information systems face challenges in terms of high development costs, limited reusability, and lack of integration capabilities with external applications.
ASUS xHIS leverages standardized development kits to realize the vision of “Write Once Run Anywhere.” This empowers hospital IT personnel, healthcare professionals, and external developers to collaborate effectively, catering to diverse requirements while ensuring seamless integration and compatibility.
The current information systems suffer from being outdated and highly customized, which presents challenges in terms of maintenance and updates.
ASUS xHIS enables the coexistence of existing and new systems, allowing for the gradual introduction of new functionalities in a modular manner. It provides the flexibility to easily modify health insurance, medication safety auditing, and administrative workflow rules without the need for coding, facilitating dynamic adjustments and maintenance.
The revised statement would be: “There is a significant amount of unstructured and non-standardized data, resulting in data silos.
ASUS xHIS structures and standardizes various data contents, establishing a common database and interfaces. This enhances compatibility between different systems, facilitating data integration and interoperability.
Through collaboration with Taiwan Cheng Hsin General Hospital, ASUS xHIS has implemented a successful open platform framework, enabling seamless integration across diverse databases and providing a unified platform for daily outpatient scenarios. The ASUS xHIS platform provides a range of AI support and development tools, enhancing consultation efficiency and enabling modular, customized user interfaces tailored to the unique needs and preferences of hospital departments and healthcare professionals.
